Day 2

Day Two: The meaning behind my blog name.

It's pretty basic. I named my blog after one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. (When You Were Young, by The Killers.) The music video is pretty awesome, so I'm gonna include a link. I don't know how to put the video on here directly.

(If you've read any other of my posts, you'd know that I'm pretty much OBSESSED with The Killers. )

Anyways, I really wanted to blog more than once a month, but I forgot my password/it wasn't working. I think I must have been typing it in wrong or something. Whoops.

Couldn't Seem To Think Up A Killers Related Title

Oh Monday, how I love thee! Not.

School...Blergh. Geometry is such a pain. Right now we are doing this crazy trigonometry stuff with those sines and cosines and tangents. It all makes my brain hurt. I spent two whole hours of my study hall trying to figure out what the hell I was doing and got absolutely nowhere. Maybe I wouldn't be doing so badly if my teacher didn't completely SUCK. I have a test on friday on all this stuff that I will without a doubt fail if some miracle doesn't happen. I wonder if one of the Killers could tutor me...

I'm also crossing my fingers that my parents let me do track this spring. I want to do it so bad, and they want me to just focus on school, so we'll see if we can find a compromise.

Well, I'm off to study some more and play some piano. I'm trying to learn how to play Somebody Told Me, and it is not going too well.

The King of Limbs

Do any of you people like Radiohead? I'm just asking because I'm seriously confused about their new CD (The King of Limbs) that came out friday. It seems to be between $45- $55(?!?!?!?!?) and you can't buy it on itunes. So yeah, if you have heard anything else about it, please let me know. I tried googling it and that just made my brain hurt even more.

Anyways, I shouldn't think about this too much because it is vacation, and I'm pretty sure it is illegal to think during vacation.

(Right now I really need to listen to some Sam's Town. It's probably been six hours since my last encounter and I'm starting to go through withdrawal.)

Well, his birthday was yesterday, but I couldn't get on the computer. So yeah, Happy belated Birthday, Ronnie. You ROCK!!!!!

Spaceman!

So, I was watching the Spaceman music video on youtube. They have those stupid ads before everything now, and this ad just so happened to be for red bull. Now to most normal people, this is not such a big deal. It is only Red Bull, right? WRONG! Red Bull is one of Brandon Flowers' favorite drinks, and the fact that there is an ad for it before one of his songs...hmmm...coincidence? Yeah, probably. But oh well, it still made me happy.

Now back to studying! :( I really have done a great job of distracting myself today. Stupid fanpop.

All these Things I Haven't Done

Right before I blog, I have the perfect post planned out. And then I sit down to write it, and nothing comes out.

I started this post about two hours ago, wrote a few sentences, and then deleted the whole thing. I left the blank screen up, hoping I'd find some inspiration, but nope.

How 'bout I just tell you all about my life and such. (If you don't care, please stop reading. I won't judge you for leaving me. )

OH WHATEVER!!!! I just need to rant about The Killers. Screw having a normal blog, I need The Killers NOW.

THE KILLERS THE KILLERS THE KILLERS. How did I live my life before I met you guys? What did I listen to before you? How on earth does the rest of humanity survive without you? I don't. Right now I'm happy that the rest of the world doesn't know who you are because you are my secret.

I have yet to right a meaningful blog post thingy. (that is where the title comes from) Next time I promise I'll post something worth reading. But goodbye for now.

First Post Ever

Ah, so you found my blog. Lucky you. Well, you don't have to like it. It is mainly to amuse myself because i'm home sick (again!) today. I might never post again, and that will be just fine.

I guess you'd want to know a bit about me.

Hmm...Where to start? I'm just a girl who's age will go unsaid (cough cough 15 cough couch) and has very strange red hair that never seems to cooperate. I love swim team with a burning passion and I wish I was fluent in french. Right now I have this obsession with the Killers. For those of you who have been living under a rock or something, the killers are the most amazing band EVER. (Well, probably not ever, but they are really good.)
